If you are looking for a photorealistic rendering of yourself or someone you love, I am not who you are looking for.  As you can see from my site, my work is much more atmospheric and my main objective is to express what lies beneath a person’s physical being.  I produce work that may surprise you but I guarantee what you get is something very unique and beautiful. Please let me paint you! You won’t regret it.

Last year I was fortunate enough to attend the infamous SXSW extravaganza in Austin, Texas. Armed with a VIP pass to Rachael Ray’s Feedback party where Orion and his band played an amazing show, I was walking around the grounds taking it all in. Rachael’s husband’s band was performing on the main stage while she gazed at him very lovingly and proudly from the balcony above.

I was lucky enough to snap a photograph at a moment that I knew would soon become a very honest and beautiful painting. It was an intimate but fleeting moment that became immortalized with oil and canvas.

And then we have the lovely Linda, whose beauty and intensity intrigue me.  She had asked me to paint her and I obviously jumped at the opportunity to study her more closely. I think this is an honest painting that represents a side of her she lets very few see. The colors are saturated and passionate like she is, and the atmosphere is vague leaving ample space to dream and believe in anything.
